OPERATIONAL RULES

Identify the Decision Maker Before the Final Stage

Advancing an opportunity to the final stage requires that a Decision Maker - a person with the authority to approve the purchase and access to the resources to fund it - has been identified by observable evidence. This requirement cannot be satisfied by assumption, by the buyer's self-report alone, or by whose name appears on a quote. The identification must be supportable by recorded evidence.
