Pipedrive MCP with Claude

Pipedrive MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an integration that connects Pipedrive directly to Claude, Anthropic's AI assistant. It allows you to interact with your CRM using natural language - searching, creating, updating, and querying records through conversation rather than clicking through the Pipedrive interface.

Most CRM interaction requires navigating menus, clicking through views, and manually locating records. MCP with Claude replaces that navigation with conversation. You can ask questions about your pipeline, find missing data, perform bulk updates, and audit deals against your own operating rules - all without opening Pipedrive's interface directly. It is already faster than manual interaction for admin tasks like data hygiene, bulk updates, and pipeline reporting that Pipedrive's Insights cannot produce natively.

Sales execution

• Use this to talk to Pipedrive when you are in the field doing sales visits.
• Use this to circumvent the Pipedrive mobile app to cut down on the amount of tapping and manual data entry.
• Use this to quickly find out what your next scheduled follow-up is and with whom.

Sales management

• Use this to audit deals and quickly zero in on what data is missing.
• Use this to understand why and when deals are being lost, or what objections are surfacing, by querying your pipeline through natural language.

CRM administration support

• Use this to audit deals across the pipeline without manually clicking through records.
• Enhance Claude's capabilities by uploading your operational rules as context, then query Claude to identify which salespeople are violating process.

Original Claude feature claims migrated from the earlier CMS entry. Individual capabilities have not been retested for this migration.

Current endpoint coverage and capability tests remain to be reviewed.

Recorded limitations

• Voice mode does not work. Use dictation as a workaround.
• You cannot delete anything through MCP.
• Claude cannot read custom field labels or custom field values - only the underlying field IDs and option IDs. Pipedrive is expected to expose this metadata in a future release.
• Data validation rules are completely ignored. If you instruct Claude to progress a deal to a stage that requires an unfilled field, it will do so regardless. The validation rules still enforce correctly when you use Pipedrive manually.

These limitations are retained from the previous entry and require re-verification.
